Sidewalk Radio

Sidewalk Radio, a monthly special feature on AM 1690 “The Voice of the Arts”, is a show about real estate that’s not really about real estate at all, or at least as we typically consider it.  More importantly, we cover life in the modern city by exploring cultural and physical development through the lens of history, and in the context of community. Creator & Host, Gene Kansas, sits down with artists, architects, designers, developers, planners, preservationists, chefs, skateboarders, civil rights icons, educators and even entomologists from time to time.  These are the ones making things happen, the leaders shaping the new cultural continuum.  These fascinating interview subjects give us insight into the way we live in and enjoy our cities, revealing the history and culture that make life worth living (or at least a lil’ more interesting). We hope you enjoy!
